Winter Sun

Winters can be grey here in northwestern Montana.  That’s an understatement, they generally are very grey, extremely grey.  When we get sun, everyone soaks it up.  We get out more, even if the temperature drops quite a bit because truly sunlight is worth the cold.

While I did get out in the sun, I also spent a good portion of the weekend sitting in front of that window too, just trying to absorb as much vitamin D as possible.

How are you enjoying your winter sunshine?

We’re getting some sunshine here in southern Nevada but it’s still cold and the wind is horrendous. I just got here a couple of weeks ago (from sunny Florida!) and I’m having to adjust to the cold. Actually, it’s more adjusting to the wind that seems to go right through me and chill me to the bone. But… I do enjoy the sunshine and soak it up when it pours through the windows of the 5th wheel while doing some crocheting!

I hate to rub it in, but it was 70 degrees here in South Carolina this past weekend. I hate the cold, generally hate winter so it was like a belated Christmas present. Of course, our winters are not THAT cold anyway.

I, too, sat in front of my living room window soaking in the SUN!!!! It was warm coming through the glass. I did, however, step out on the deck to get a breath of fresh air along with it. Short lived but yummy! Back into the house to enjoy in front of the window!! More please!?!
