I’m blessed with some pretty incredible people in my tribe – both in real life and viturally. Every person in my tribe is inspiring and amazing on so many different levels, honestly I can’t even begin to give any of them real justice in a blog entry. Also, most of the folks in my tribe are actively involved in some pretty amazing projects and I want to be able to give them a shout-out now and then. I felt like these projects and people deserved something a little more special than being included in my Friday Favorites listings, however; and so to that end, Weekend Salutes has been born.
I don’t expect this to be an every weekend thing, but when there is something fun going on, I’m going to feature it here. I hope that you’ll check out these projects, let my friends know you stopped by, and even support them if you’re interested and able. I’ll also probably use these days as way to update you on my upcoming classes and projects as well, no harm in saluting myself either I figure.
- My dear friend, Shea, has recently become a health coach and launched her own business and blog. I can’t say enough good about this amazing, kind, and truly inspiring woman. She’s available to folks locally as well as through the phone for those of you not-so-local.
- I’ve attended many a class by Kathy Dunnehoff and count her as one of my biggest writing inspirations. Her novels are truly fun and amazing reads. This weekend she’s offering her book Plan On It free as a spring break celebration. Please check it out as well as her other two books currently available.
- Renee, has recently released her first e-book, Nurturing Creativity: A Guide for Busy Moms. I’ve been reading a copy, even though I’m not a mom there’s tons of good stuff in there. Renee is a giving, creative, and supportive soul and for all of you moms out there, I know she offers sound advice from a place of love.
