We have a special passion for sharing our knowledge and encouraging our community to learn how to do things for themselves.  We do this through a variety of classes both in the community of the Flathead Valley and on farm.

We teach a variety classes mostly centered on the homemaking arts. The classes are hands-on and experiential in nature. Conversation not lecture is how we lead a class. Students leave class not only knowledgeable about the subject matter but confident in their ability to repeat the same process on their own at home.

Comments from Previous Students:

WCherry Saucearning: You can’t take just one class! I started out taking Kathie’s basic canning class, then her citrus preserving class. I can’t wait to take her class on pickling and many others! She is truly inspiring and a leader directing me toward a simpler more self-sufficient lifestyle. ~ Karina

Kathie’s classes teach simple living with simple things any of us can do! I appreciate the practicality of what she teaches because it’s not complicated how-to’s… it’s the way she lives. ~ K athy Dunnehoff
