My seed orders have been arriving in the last week or so. Their arrival gave me the impetus I needed to get organized for the gardening season ahead. I had a few bowls and plates sitting around with saved seeds drying for storage, those were put into envelopes and labeled appropriately.
Those gorgeous seeds came from a gorgeous squash from my friend Hailey’s garden last fall. I can’t wait to grow some of these tasty beauties in my own garden this year.
I keep my seeds in this tin that has been missing a lid forever. It works well and some re-used and cut up file folders serve as great dividers. Simple, easy to dig through and stores well.
How do you store and organize your seeds?

This, my friend, makes me smile. I did the same thing a few weeks ago with the seeds from your Lower Salmon squash, entitled “Kathie’s LS Squash.” It was delish by the way!
And here I was feeling all organized because I gathered up all the stray dishes, baggies and seed packages and got them sorted into different containers as either flower or vegetables and then made a list of what I had …. never even thought to create dividers like yours. COOL! I do keep a detailed garden journal though, with notes of what grew well and what not to grow again. It is my pride and joy after almost 10 years of having a garden.
