“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.” ~ Edith Sitwell
It also seems that winter is time for sitting around the table reading and crafting. Such is the simple life here at Two Frog Home.
What is the winter season for at your house?

What a great quote!
Currently this winter is for packing to move out west the day after Christmas but once we’re settled, I hope to do just those things in the quote as well as some sewing, crocheting and reading.
For gardening and enjoying being able to open the house and to be outside without sweltering. For baking and stitching and knitting. For snuggling the kiddos–the tiniest one for naps and nursing and just because, the bigger one for stories and bedtime prayers and just because. For seeing family. For reading. For spending time at the park with friends. And for evenings spent at home with my nearest and dearest.
Winter is so different for me in CA. Winter is for walks and hikes when it’s not too hot and there are no concerns about rattlesnakes. Winter is for finally picking the ripe mandarin oranges. Even so, we still cuddle under blankets and drink hot tea.
