Moments I’m enjoying currently:

The blooming of my cane-like begonia. Jeff bought this plant for me almost 9 years ago at a yard sale in a lot of about 7 houseplants. This one looked bad, it’s root ball had been broken, but I re-potted it and hoped for the best. 9 years later its the only surviving plant from that yard sale lot and in fact, has many “children” that have been given to friends & family over the years.
The longer daylight hours, meaning lights are rarely needed except in the wee early hours of the morning.

Afternoon snacking that involves peaches canned last summer and a dollop of cottage cheese in my work coffee mug.
Long phone calls with old, dear friends that I don’t chat with nearly enough.
The planning (if not the actual crafting just yet, I have plenty of time) of two baby quilts for two dear friends and wonderful mamas. This will be the fourth quilt I’ve made for one of these mama’s babies and that just makes me happy.
Watching Jon Stewart and The Daily Show online, I go through phases with this show and right now I’m in the total adoration phase. Jon just makes me laugh.
What moments are you enjoying?

I am enjoying tea, crochet edging on baby sweater, and the knowledge that most of my week’s responsibilities are finished.
The quiet ones – waking before anyone else does, making tea and shuffling around my yard, inspecting plants and watering seedlings. Lovely.
