It seems silly to say every moment, though that would be the truth. It’s hard not to enjoy these beautiful days of summer in northwest Montana. Still, there are a few that stand out and need recognizing:
The planning of a potluck, food swap, and just general gathering at our place later this month.
The constant surprises that is a garden this time of year. The flowers, fruits, and veggies each one seemingly popping up within seconds to delight our senses.
The way the sunlight and moonlight play across our landscape is truly something to behold any time of year, but right now I’m enjoying it even more than usual.
Filling up jars and watching the pantry once again get full. After months of eating from it, there’s a huge satisfaction in filling back it up.
We’re both enjoying slices of this frozen Banana Chocolate Pie. Goodness, it’s exactly the treat a person needs on a hot day. I shared the recipe for that yummy pie in the August newsletter. Be sure to sign up for the newsletter for a monthly recipe and list of what’s happening here at Two Frog Home as well as updates on classes I’m offering.
So tell me, please, what moments are you enjoying?

I’m enjoying picking, cooking, freezing and dehydrating my bumper crop of tomatoes. And sitting in the evenings, knitting.
