As much as I am creative, I’m also a bit of an organization fiend. I like creative chaos to an extent but I also like ‘everything to have a place and be in it’s place,’ in the words of my grandmother. I’ve been trying to marry these two sides of my personality peacefully, sometimes with more success than others. I want things to be organized but not drab and recently I achieved that with a cleaning, organizing, and re-labeling of the spice rack.
Pretty labels given to me by a canning student last summer were just the ticket. I’m not the kind of girl who is going to buy all new jars so they all match, I rather like the oddball shapes and sizes. However, the prettier labels just make my little neat nick yet yearning for pretty soul happy.
What kind of creative organization have you got going on? I’m always on the hunt for new ideas.

Speaking of creative, in your Seasonal video, you have this really cool looking, long, cork think to which is pinned a pork schedule of some sort. Would you share what this is and how you made it?
