Classes & Consultations
Local Classes in Northwest Montana
I’ll be offering the following classes through Flathead Valley Community College’s Continuing Education Program. Please register for the classes through them.
- Modern Home Canning: 2 weeks (3 hours each Tuesday evening) August 3rd & 10th from 6 to 9 PM. You’re learn the basics of water bath and pressure canning. The class cost is $54 per student and includes handouts, jars, and food.
- Modern Home Canning: 2 classes in 1 week (3 hours on Tuesday & 3 hours Thursday evening) August 17 & 19th from 6 to 9PM. You’re learn the basics of water bath and pressure canning. The class cost is $54 per student and includes handouts, jars, and food.
Individual & Group Consultations
I am available for individual and group consultations and classes. Currently, I offer the following topics:
- Home canning – water bath & pressure
- Vermicomposting (Composting with Worms)
- Meal Planning
- Frugal Living Techniques
- Home/Family Budgeting
- Cooking from Scratch
- Others will be available soon, and I’m always open to creating custom classes.
- One-on-One consultations are also available in your home, my home, or via phone/webcam

My goodness! I hope you know how necessary your class subjects are! Meal planning is a big one that my five sisters and I STILL struggle with. Budgeting and Frugal are also subjects my generation need help on.
