Autumnal Sunshine

“I cannot endure to waste anything so precious as autumnal sunshine by staying in the house.”

~ Nathaniel Hawthorne

The days are getting shorter but my, oh, my Mother Nature is putting on such a glorious show here in northwestern Montana.  The peaks are capped in white and the landscape is dotted in hues of green and gold as the larch turn magnificently before dropping their needles.  We had the first tiny bit of snow yesterday, it didn’t last but it’s coming and before it does I’m making sure to not waste any of this amazing autumnal sunshine and get outside as much as I possibly can.

Sometimes we get outside just to enjoy the beauty and sometimes we get outside to work but still end up just enjoying the beauty.

Waste not, want not, grandma always said and truly I think that applies as much to sunshine as it does anything else.  How are you soaking up the sunshine so as not to waste it these days?
