Edited – Maria Millett is our winner.
I did add the banner to the side bar a few weeks back and I’ve been talking a little bit about it on Facebook and Twitter but I wanted to make it official and make a big announcement here at Two Frog Home. I’m offering a new online course, Homespun Seasonal Living. This course is a culmination of suggestions and ideas gathered in my classes, webinars, and writings. I created a small video explaining a bit about it:
If you’d like a little more detailed of a course outline, you can find that on the course description page. I’m happy to answer specific questions at mtkatiecakes@yahoo.com as well. I’m super excited about this new adventure and as always I look forward to meeting the students in my class.
One of the things I’ve learned over the years is that my students are my best references. My students continue to come back time and again to my new offerings and get their friends involved in my many projects as well. I’m eternally grateful for and ceaselessly humbled by that. To honor that, I’m giving away a free registration for the Homespun Seasonal Living Course beginning in January. To enter you simply need to comment on this post by 5 PM Mountain Standard Time on Sunday, November 25, 2012.

Comment…… because the poorer we get the more I start to realize that money has twisted our idea of seasonal living. Who can wait for late June strawberries in the PNW when the corner market has them for Easter (or fresh for Valentines?). I want to know what a girl can really do for Valentine’s Day (for instance) that is local and seasonal. It seems the Roses and chocolate dipped strawberries came from somewhere else. All of a sudden your side thing makes sense…. I eat local because I can.
Leaving a comment. Would love to be part of this Homespun Seasonal Living course. Fingers crossed I’m picked for the free giveaway
Sounds wonderful! I’d love to win!
This sounds perfect! I would love to consistently pick your brain.
I would LOVE to win! This sounds like something I would really enjoy!
I’m trying so hard to live seasonally…it takes thought, creativity and most of all, a willingness – to forego instant gratitude and, even better, enjoy the anticipation of good things to come. I look forward to new ideas and hearing how everyone manages this ‘new’ old concept!
Sounds like a lovely course–I would love some new ideas!
