The amazing folks over at Habit, have again invited readers to participate in the month of November. I’ve been taking some shots and adding my 30 words or less. It’s been an interesting project in that I have to condense one entire day into 30 measly words. Sometimes that is impossibly difficult. It’s also challenging me and my photography skills, forcing me to see the artistic nature in every day moments. I’m continually surprised by what moments end up making it into my 30 words.
Admittedly, I feel a little intimidated by all the beauty shared on the blog as well as in the flickr group. Still, I keep my chin up and keep trying. I’ve been honored to see that a few of my photos have been chosen and included in the month. If you aren’t familiar with Habit, I encourage you check it out and think about adding your own shots or at the very least recording your ordinary moments visually with minimal words. You might be surprised at what sticks out in all the moments that make up a day.
