As we come to the close of 2012, I just wanted to take a quick second to say Thank You for supporting this blog by reading, e-mailing, commenting, and spreading the word. I so appreciate your support and involvement in this blog and by extension my life.
2012 was the first year in which we started seeds in our greenhouse:
The resulting seedlings filled our garden as well as gave as our first plant sales from Two Frog Home. It was mighty satisfying and we’re expanding all of that in 2013.
Bees made themselves at home in our garden in 2012:
We hope the hive is doing well during our Montana winter and look forward to their activity again in 2013. I could go on and on and on about the bees but I do try to keep it in check.
2012 was such an amazing year. Jeff and I continue to feel like we’re the most blessed people on earth. We continued to tap our maples, preserve lots of food, teach classes, laugh together, explore Montana, and much, much more. As sappy as it might sound, I can say I’m more in love with Jeff than I was at the beginning of the year, even though I couldn’t have believed it possible in January. The year was amazing on so many levels, but all of that is increased simply because I share it all with him.
In 2012, these were the top five blog posts:
- Garden Planting & Markers
- Appreciating Hard Work
- Rhubarb Sauce :: A Canning Recipe (a post from 2011 that continues to be popular)
- Homemade Nail Cream
- Crafting a Simple Holiday
I’m looking forward to sharing new adventures, thoughts, and ideas with you in 2013.
