Walks Around Home
The last few days have just been goregous here in northwest Montana. Oh, it snowed abit yesterday but overall its been clear, bright, and rather wonderful for late January.
We made sure to take full advantage but getting outside as much as possible. The cats always close behind at home.
There was plenty of indoor work, like scrubbing the kitchen floor; but it was those moments outside that made the weekend so special.
What made your weekend special?
That leaf is so beautiful. It snowed (without much accumulation) Friday-Sunday. The issue is it didn’t make it out of the teens. I need to buy face coverings when they go on clearance this winter so we can get out doors more next year.
Didn’t spend much time outdoors – just walking down to the mailbox.
What made the weekend special: Spending time w/the grandsons- yay!
We’ve had terribly cold weather, which made for a beautiful Friday night of cross-country skiing under a fantastically bright full moon.

My husband only had to work 8-hour shifts instead of 12-hour this weekend, so we got to eat a meal together for the first time in a week. It was also the first time in a long while that I had a weekend off after working for a few days!

My weekend was incredibly relaxing. Just enough to do to keep me busy while the hubby was working, but just enough down time to be renewing also. AND I made my first dish in the crock pot–I’m SOLD! LOVED IT!

I got outside for some picture-taking on Sunday; it was frigid over the weekend, but sunny and the light was too beautiful to resist. It’s become a bit warmer, so I’m hoping to manage a few more walks this week.
What made the weekend special, besides the usual good company, was getting out to a belly dance show and dancing in the jam at the end. It felt so good!
