Some recent favorites to share:
- As the only pears I have currently are canned and there are no pistachios in the pantry – The rosy poached pear and pistachio tart will have to wait until after the 6-month grocery challenger is over. But this recipe looks to be a keeper.
- I’m not a huge holiday decorator, but I just might have to make a few paper stars for the house this weekend.
- One other decoration, I’d like to make is a new wreath. The one we’ve been using was made by me, but is in sad shape and a wreath made from Christmas tree bulbs seems like a wonderful thing to make.
- I just finished reading Farm City not too long ago and I really enjoyed reading the author’s re-cap of her book tour and the many urban farms and farmers she met along the way.
- I have a bit of A, B, and C (if amassing wealth is considering being frugal and saving) on this prep strategy self-quiz. I have dreams about being a solid B, but don’t know that its realistic for me. How about you?

Oh I got my SSE catalog last week and I am drooling over it. I hope the holidays are treating you well. I have started blogging on my site again. I hope to stay busy this winter. Hugs
