The placemats are lovely. I spent all day Friday sewing slipcovers for the 4 large pillows on the back of my sofa and 4 throw pillow covers. I bought a slipcover but it didn't cover the pillows. I was thrilled to find the exact same color of the same fabric to sew the pillows for less than $20. So for less than $100 I got a "new" sofa. Sure feels good to make my home a little nicer thriftily. Glad your dinner went well. The placemats are lovely. I forgot to take any pix last evening at our harvest dinner: all the veggies (including relish tray) came from my garden (except for the cabbage in the coleslaw)! Youngest grandson said, "I love your garden, Grandma." Our next family gathering at my house w/ be for St. Nicholas Day (Dec. 6th) - a traditional Belgian celebration day.
