My goodness, its been a whirlwind of week for me.  A week that found me out every single night after work.  A week where I’d leave home each morning around 7:45 and not get home until after 8:30 (or later) each evening.  This is not at all a “normal” routine for me and I don’t mind admitting, that I’m a wee bit tired today.  Despite being a rather large shift from my normal homebody routine, the week was really quite wonderful.

Monday was just errand running and getting items for classes that I taught on Wednesday and Thursday.  Tuesday was my “Artist’s Way” class and the instructor had us to her home for a lovely meal and discussion.  It was a great time!  The food was just delicious and the conversation inspiring.  Only two more of these classes left and while I’m still not thrilled with the book, I’m going to miss the weekly discussions with the amazing women in this class.

Wednesday night I taught a canning class to an amazing group of people in Ferndale, Montana.  It was an extremely late night for me, I didn’t get home until almost 10:30, but was just so much fun.  The group of folks taking the class were just amazing and inspiring on so many different levels.    Teaching people how to can is one of my most favorite activities, its hard for me to express just exactly how much joy I get out of walking canning students through the process of putting food by.  Its humbling, gratifying, and inspiring all wrapped up in one experience.  The classes are fast and a lot of work, but they never seem to exhaust me as much as they invigorate me.

Thursday night brought about the last session of a two-session frugality class.  Again, the class was filled with amazing people with lots of good ideas and questions about the frugal path.  I enjoyed it immensely and hope that I inspired those folks just a touch.  I know they gave me some new ideas and reminded me of why I chose this frugal path in the first place.

As much fun as all of these activities were, I’m looking forward to a more normal routine day.  I’m looking forward to ending this whirlwind of a week with a nice quiet dinner with my love and a little movie watching before what I am sure will be an early bedtime.  I haven’t eaten dinner with Jeff once this week and that is just a weird feeling.  Tonight will be a relaxing evening into what is likely to be a busy weekend.  Have a great weekend!

Edited to Add: I’m over at Homemakers Who Work today, too cooking up a warm breakfast.
