Not Buying It :: Week 11
Clothing: I mended two pairs of Jeff’s jeans.
Food: Still eating mostly from our storage and now many salads from the garden.
Household:
Utilities: Line drying clothes, diligently turning off power strips, not using lights during the long daylight hours.
Gifts: I finished two washclothes and a set of four quilted placemats with matching cloth napkins for a wedding gift. I used only items I had in my stash, no new fabric, thread, or yarn.
Exercises/Self-Improvement: Yard work and weeding and walking on my lunch breaks.
Homestead: We modified a camera tri-pod Jeff that was left at his work and never claimed to make it work as a sprinkler for the garden. It’s a lot like the Rain Tower system without the $80 price tag.
Weaknesses:
Purging:

Ingenious recycling with the tri-pod! My compliments to the engineer.
