Clothing: Polished work shoes in hopes of making last longer and look nicer.
Food: Still eating mostly from our storage.
Household: I made some new curtains for our bedroom out of some wonderful upholstery fabric that I found in a box of scraps that I bought at a rummage sale for $1. I’m so very excited about these curtains, they make a huge difference. I hated the old ones but couldn’t find ones I liked and nice home decorator fabric is so very expensive, I was so happy to see this fabric in the box I scored a few weeks back.
Utilities: Still line drying clothes and leaving windows open for air movement – no fans, etc.
Gifts: I sent my dad a box of cookies for father’s day.
Exercises/Self-Improvement: Yard work and weeding.
Homestead: We removed the crumbling bricks around a small flower bed and replaced those bricks with some black plastic landscape border that had been left here by the previous owners. It looks so much nicer and its easier to work around than the bricks that were always falling over.
Weaknesses: This last week, I don’t think there were any.
Purging: We put the old curtains and a few extra throw pillows into our yard sale boxes in the garage.
