…so excited about my new muck boots that I didn’t take the tag off before wearing them for the first time.
…planning on tilling the garden this weekend and planting some frost tolerant veggies too.
…watching the seedlings grow.
…discovering that the surprise seeds are actually lavatera seeds.
…smelling the wonderful scent of those goregous daffodils.
…missing Patches and sensing how empty our home feels without her spirit.
…incredibly grateful for the man that shares his life with me and the hugs he gives me several times a day every single day.

What a neat post.
I am cleaning the house for the weekend. Something my mother taught me to do when I was little— it stuck. I am also going to stay in where it is warm– we are getting another spring snow storm some time today.
Great boots! Funny you should ask because I am finishing the garden apron you posted a while back, and then I am going out to the garden to plant some taters and onions! Have a great day!
Today I am taking a walk into town with the little guy for a homemade donut at our town cafe and I am going to get onion sets at the feed store. Gonna get my hands dirty in the garden. And I want to finish a hat I started at the beginning of the week. It’s a beautiful day!

I went to yoga today, did a little yard work and more weed research and have been lounging around since. Hubby was home and did some cool stuff in the yard. Geez, I can’t wait til he can quit and always help me in the yard. He’s efficient! No distractions from the computer for him.

Did our laundry and hung clothes out to dry for 2nd time this spring. Love that fresh air smell.
Cleaned house.
Put screens in windows and opened them to freshen the indoors too.
Pruned herbs and checked for signs of new growth.
Watered seedlings.
Enjoyed my DH company.
Now to curl up with a good book and the cats – Kaytee and Annie.
