This week’s favorites in no particular order:
- Cheesemaking is something that has been on my “to-do” list for a long time, its something I hope to try my hand at this winter, though I have to buy my milk. I’ve been doing lots of reading on the topic and save every internet article and blog entry from those who make cheese so that I can learn from their experience.
- Finding balance that includes Chunky Monkey Oatmeal, um sign me up please. Okay, so that wasn’t really the intent of her post, but I got distracted by the oatmeal…
- Meal planning is a subject that is near and dear to my heart, and I enjoy seeing how other folks practice it and the cookbooks they use for inspiration.
- I often read the blogs of people with vastly different lives than my own. Eyes of Wonder is one such blog, its a blog of a large family living the simple life. I can relate to the simple life but obviously not the large family part, but her entries, always fill me with such joy and peace, yesterday’s was no different than usual.
- Trying to declutter, wanting to learn how to use ebay and craigslist? Check out this great primer.

Thank you for the links. I had lost the one to the oatmeal.

Beautiful photo.
I’m so glad you posted the link to Eyes of Wonder here…we just discovered it literally a couple days ago through a blog trail beginning at down-to-earth (don’t you love following links and links and links?) The homemade childrens’ clothing caught my eye and when I arrived at the blog, oh wow…I had some time and spent a longgggg time just going back and back reading her posts and looking at the wonderful pics of her family. They remind me of the Wallers, whose DVD we love to watch…a very special spirit in those families
So glad you posted the link here. We’ll probably mention it at some point on our blog, too…it really inspired me
