This week’s favorites in no particular order:
- Is it really preparedness or just day to day living?
- With a slogan like Vegetables for Everyone Every Day, I think Waverly is a shoe in for President!
- Roasted Tomato Garlic Soup, just yummy, made more yummy because its a canning recipe. Can’t you just picture popping a jar of that on a cold winter’s night?
- It’s just about apple season here, and I think whole wheat apple cinnamon muffins will have to be made.
- The great thing about home preservation is that we get to enjoy the bounties of local harvests all year long.

I checked out the link to the soup , it sounds delish. I might can some if I get anymore tomatoes , it would definitely taste good on a cold winter night.
